At iohDocXtract, we strive to provide high-quality document extraction services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for purchased credits and subscription plans.

We do not store your uploaded documents and do not share your data with any third parties. All documents are processed and immediately deleted. Your privacy and data security are guaranteed.

2. General Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service and immediate credit allocation upon purchase, all sales are generally final. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

3. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Unavailability

If our service is unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 hours) due to technical issues on our end, and you have unused credits, you may be eligible for a refund or credit extension.

3.2 Duplicate Charges

If you are charged multiple times for the same purchase due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charges immediately upon verification.

3.3 Unauthorized Transactions

If you notice an unauthorized transaction on your account, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and issue a refund if the transaction is confirmed to be unauthorized.

3.4 Service Not as Described

If the service significantly differs from what was described at the time of purchase, and you have not used the credits, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Used Credits: Credits that have been used for document processing cannot be refunded
  • Free Credits: Promotional or free credits provided upon signup are not refundable
  • Processing Errors: Refunds will not be issued for user errors in document upload or processing
  • Dissatisfaction with Results: Refunds are not available based on dissatisfaction with extraction accuracy, as results may vary based on document quality
  • Change of Mind: Refunds are not available simply because you changed your mind after purchase

5. Refund Request Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • Transaction ID or receipt number
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any relevant supporting documentation

5.2 Review Process

We will review your refund request within 5-7 business days. We may contact you for additional information if needed. All refund decisions are made at our sole discretion.

5.3 Refund Processing

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time may take 7-14 business days depending on your payment provider
  • Any unused credits associated with the refunded purchase will be removed from your account

6. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may issue partial refunds:

  • If you have used some but not all of the purchased credits
  • If the refund is for a portion of a subscription plan
  • Partial refunds will be calculated based on unused credits at the time of the refund request

7. Credit Extensions

In lieu of a refund, we may offer credit extensions or additional credits to your account. This option may be provided for:

  • Service interruptions
  • Technical issues affecting your experience
  • As a goodwill gesture for valid concerns

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate your account
  • Dispute the chargeback with relevant documentation
  • Pursue collection of any outstanding amounts

We strongly encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback.

9. Subscription Plans

For subscription plans:

  • Refunds for subscription plans are generally not available after credits have been allocated
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, but you will continue to have access to purchased credits
  • Future subscription charges will be stopped upon cancellation
  • Refunds for unused subscription periods may be considered on a case-by-case basis

10. Time Limits

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date, except in cases of:

  • Unauthorized transactions (no time limit)
  • Duplicate charges (no time limit)
  • Extended service unavailability (as long as the issue persists)

11. Currency and Payment Methods

Refunds will be issued in the same currency and to the same payment method used for the original purchase. Exchange rates and fees may apply for international transactions.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
